Technoport is an innovation centre offering support services to high-tech companies in Luxembourg. A former department of CRP Henri Tudor, Technoport was created in 1998 as a clustering organisation between the public research centre and business-oriented stakeholders at national and international level. It offers start-up incubation facilities, exchange and networking programmes, as well as a wide range of coaching, training and business support services. Technoport is a full member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) and complies with the highest quality standards in the fields of business planning, business modelling, financial planning and strategic management.

Experience in related projects

Technoport spun-out from CRP Henri Tudor in 2012 to become a self-sustainable organisation, with the support of private and public stakeholders. The multi-party long-term strategic plan, validated at government level, was internally written by the team of Technoport and successfully implemented during the last two years. Technoport has running exchange programmes with a number of ICT science parks and clusters (INCUBA Science Park, Software Park Hagenberg, IT Inkubator Ostbayern GmbH, Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, Technologicke centrum Pisek) and a multi-year partnership with the University of Luxembourg for the organisation of entrepreneurship workshops and strategic training sessions. Technoport has extensive experience in European Coordination and Support actions and in short-term missions for EuropeAid programmes with the mission of organising local and international support activities for bridging science and business (e.g. Support to Research and Technological Development and Innovation Initiatives and Strategies (SRTD) project in Jordan). Technoport is currently involved as a WP leader in the ACE, c-Space and i-locate FP7 projects and the LILA and PROUD Interreg-IV B ones, with a specific role in exploitation and dissemination strategies, multi-sector partnerships, and sector-specific economic growth acceleration through the provision of tailored internationalisation support programmes.
